The series shows three double-pages of an old, found photo album. The photos are gone. Their tracks are to be understood both as remains as well as traces. A visualisation of that absence that we struggle so hard to fill when we try to remember

The title of the work refers on the one hand to something or someone absent, on the other hand to the temporary status of the artist as a guest / tourist in Budapest, who, like many, tries to oppose something to this sensation of impermanence by inscribing (I was Here).
