2011, installation at MUSA, airbrush on wall, nails
In her expansive installation To Forget for MUSA’s start gallery, Katharina Stiglitz shows traces of a fictional exhibition on the walls of the gallery space. The outlines of the vanished images, which are to be understood as both a residue and a trail, seem like the visualisation of this absence, that we are trying so hard to fill when we try to remember.
